Why I chose Animas High School.

I am a child that has struggled in normal public schools. I chose Animas High School for the reasons on the right. i believe that I have the potential to do anything I want to do as long as I stay in school. My goal in life is to finish high school and go to Le Cordon Bleu In Portland Oregon. I want to master in culinary arts and start my own restaurant. I have had some experience in the kitchen last year. I had an internship with my step father (The kitchen manger at Sunshine Gardens West) last year.
During the eight months of my internship, I learned how to rotate stock, manage an industrial-sized dishwasher, and cook breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner. In school my favorite subjects are algebra, physics, Digital Arts, and humanities. I also like my SIG and X-Block classes as well. My SIG class is Trail Bounce, this class is where we go up Animas Trail and either hike, run, jog, or walk. We can go at any pace we want. I really like Animas High School a lot, and I am glad that I chose to go here. |
